Two names, one book. Again it is attributed to the time of Solomon. It is an interesting book because it does not really have a ‘religious’ feel about it. Instead, it reads as a celebration of sexual love between a man and a woman. It affirms the place of sexuality in the Bible… but it is interesting that its connected with Solomon, as we shall see, given the number of women that king reportedly ‘loves’!
